E-Comm 9-1-1 is seeking an experienced Director of Transformation to spearhead our strategic planning, Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) processes, and transformative initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to partner with E-Comm’s Chief Transformation Officer to drive innovation, enhance organizational impact, and shape the future of public safety communication in British Columbia.

 

We are seeking a seasoned Transformation professional with proven expertise in managing large-scale transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to ensure successful execution and delivery of priority projects and programs. 

 

Key to your success in this role will be your ability to influence decision-making, foster alignment across diverse business units, effectively communicate complex initiatives with clarity and simplicity, and secure buy-in for transformation projects.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

As the Director of Transformation, you’ll be the catalyst for change, responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to shape long-term strategies and decide on enterprise priorities
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Drive consensus among diverse stakeholders including all levels of leadership, through skilled negotiation and influence, ensuring seamless decision-making and governance
  • Portfolio Management & EPMO Leadership: Enable the delivery of high-impact projects, harmonizing methodologies and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and ensuring projects are sequenced in a coordinated way
  • Risk Management: Manage Enterprise Risk Management process and reporting to identify, assess, and mitigate strategic risks
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a small team of dedicated transformation project management professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration

 

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience managing large-scale transformation programs, including project portfolio management in complex environments
  • Proven success leading a Project Management Office (PMO) and executing enterprise-wide change
  • Exceptional skills in strategic planning, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and budget oversight
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is a strong asset
  • A natural influencer with outstanding communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities
  • Passion for driving continuous improvement and delivering meaningful results

Security Requirements:

As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm.  The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is 5 years.

Vaccination Policy: E-Comm 911 has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. However, should the policy be reinstated, it will be a requirement for all current and future employees.
